Technology · DuckDuckGo Has a Lite Version, and It's Good
To put this post into perspective, I wrote this when I was on vacation in Croatia, dealing with not the best internet connection, to say the least. Continue Reading
What a strange day. Today I definitely don't feel like myself; my thoughts are all over the place. Despite all this, I'm grateful for my friends who can be so supportive in such moments. I've started listening to an episode from Huberman Lab about 'Growth Mindset,' and however uncomfortable that phrase sounds, the science behind it is quite fascinating. I'm taking notes, so I might publish something in that regard on the blog as well.
UAE Ice Baths and the Power of Experimentation
I've been following the Tour de France for the past few years. This year, the race hasn't disappointed, but in the early stages, the UAE team "shocked" everyone by using ice baths to cool down their riders right after each stage. "100 Days of Blogging" badge has been added. Check out the main blog page to see it. It's not perfect, but it's okay for now. As mentioned yesterday, I also aim to introduce a few small improvements to my blog, but today, I simply wanted to enjoy the day. Continue Reading
I need to start thinking about implementing pagination for this blog. I would also like to enhance the blog posts by adding some RSS feed links and more information at the bottom of each post. I like what I've built, but the current version of my blog is quite basic and barebone. Continue Reading
To Learn is to Apply
School is a system, quite a bad one, and like most bad systems it puts a lot of energy into conforming and shaping us in ways that feel so unnatural to a child. Looking back at those years, it seems scary how this system works, seeing the cogwheel turn and shaping the raw talent into anxiety-inducing, crippled, and fragile human beings. Continue Reading
100 Days of Blogging
It's almost 10 p.m. I'm currently at the seaside, enjoying my vacation. It's hot, and a fan called 'Giovanni' is blowing in my face. It's calm, and I feel good. Continue Reading
